Sister Circles: A Sanctuary for Healing

The Sister Circles program offers a nurturing environment for survivors of domestic violence, providing a safe space where they can find peace, comfort, and connection. In these group counseling sessions, participants come together to share their stories, lay down their burdens, and support one another on their healing journeys. Each circle is a sacred space that encourages openness and vulnerability, allowing survivors to express their feelings without fear of judgment. Here, they can truly be themselves and begin to rebuild the trust and self-worth that may have been lost.

What to expect:

  • guided thoughtful discussions
  • foster self-exploration and personal growth
  • redefine your identity beyond your traumas
  • reclaim your power and purpose
  • supportive network of fellow survivors
  • gain insights and tools to help with your healing journey

When Love Hurts Workshop

The When Love Hurts workshop was established to empower youth and young adults impacted by domestic violence.

According to DoSomething.Org,

  • 1 in 3 young people will be in an abusive or unhealthy relationship.
  • Roughly 1.5 million U.S. high school boys & girls admit to being hit or physically harmed in the last year by someone they are romantically involved with.
  • 33% of adolescents in America are victim to sexual, physical, verbal, or emotional dating abuse.

Recognizing the urgent need for support and awareness, we collaborate with churches, social services, organizations, police departments, and schools to create a comprehensive network dedicated to addressing this critical issue.

Through educational programs, supportive resources, and open discussions, we aim to equip young individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to recognize unhealthy relationships and seek help.
